Process
At Porã, each piece begins with intention.
Natural fabrics, linen, silk, and cotton are carefully chosen for the way they breathe, age beautifully, and connect us back to the earth. Each garment is made by hand in small batches, embracing a slower rhythm.
Colour is not imposed, it is discovered.
Through plant-based dyes, tones emerge from nature itself: leaves, roots, flowers, and time. Each dye bath becomes a process of observation and letting go, where colour cannot be fully controlled, only guided.
Techniques such as shibori, immersion dyeing, and soft gradients create subtle variations in every piece. No two garments are ever the same, each one carrying its own marks and story.
